This summer, I purchased an inflatable kayak to entertain myself during the hot Texas afternoons. I love using it to explore new areas of Austin that were previously inaccessible to me. One day while looking for new places to explore on Google maps, I stumbled upon some satellite imagery of these lily pads on Lake Austin. I decided to take my kayak out to investigate and captured this image with my drone. I love how the green color contrasts the orange of my kayak.
